The Junkers JU-87 Stuka was a German dive bomber from World War II. This legendary model became a symbol of Luftwaffe's strength. It was used for the first time during the civil war in Spain. The characteristic feature of Ju-87 were wings in the letter "W" configuration and acoustic sirens mounted at the beginning of the war which were activated when the aircraft entered the dive flight. The sound of sirens caused panic on the ground and was destructive to soldiers' morale. The Stuka was used on many fronts of the Second World War.
