Precious Moments began close to 40 years ago when creator, Sam Butcher, began drawing the endearing teardrop-eyed children he called Precious Moments, as gifts for family and friends. In the mid 1970’s, Sam’s artwork came to life through Precious Moments figurines which launched the brand into what is now one of the world’s best-known inspirational brands.
